Overcoming feelings of guilt with hypnotherapy in Kent - Herne Bay
Guilt is felt by someone who has done something they believe they shouldn’t have done. On the other hand, someone might feel guilt because they didn’t do something when they should have.
It’s sometimes used as a means of ‘persuading’ people to do certain things by capitalising on that guilt. It’s an emotion that can be manipulated to control in certain circumstances.
Children deal with guilt differently, in that they are more likely to just bury it, not acknowledge it. The downside of that is that it can cause all sorts of problems in their adult life, hence many psychosomatic illnesses stem from those repressed, bottled-up emotions.
Pure Hypnoanalysis (analytical therapy) seeks to release those bottled-up emotions and rid the client of their symptoms.
