Overcoming shyness with hypnotherapy in Kent - Herne Bay
Shyness is generally a mild social awkwardness, although it can be a totally inhibiting phobia.
In the case of mild sufferers, they feel awkward or embarrassed and self-conscious in certain situations; for example if they meet a member of the opposite sex that they are drawn to, because they are shy they are likely to stand back rather than make their attraction obvious.
On the other hand, in more severe cases the person suffers from low self-esteem, maybe an accelerated heart rate, dry mouth and in even more extreme cases feeling faint or dizzy.
This is a classic social phobic and is one on the cases where Pure Hypnoanalysis (analytical therapy) is so successful, as it seeks to find the root cause and dispose of it completely.
